Summer Themed Party!

This cute and colorful summer party is great for a birthday or end-of-the-year bash!

1. Welcome Banner!
This pretty banner will make your guests feel right at home!

You will need:
- 6 by 6 scrapbooking paper
- scissors
- pencil
- ruler
- marker

Step 1.  Lay out 7 papers in a color coordinated pattern.

Step 2: Take your first sheet and measure 3 inches on the bottom edge, mark with a pencil.

Step 3: Take your ruler or any straight edged object, and place it along the dot you marked and one of the upper corners of your paper. Do the same with the other corner so that you have a v-shape.

Step 4: Cut along the lines, then trace onto other papers. Cut them all out.

Step 5: Punch 2 holes in the top of each one.

Step 6: Arrange them again in order and write W E L C O M E onto them.

Step 7: Measure out a length of twine and feed it through the holes.

Step 8: Hang in your doorway!

2. Snack Table
It's always good to have refreshments that match your theme!

A. Ocean Water Lemonade
This sweet idea brightens up your snack table, and is so refreshing!

You will need:
- a jug of lemonade(preferably fresh squeezed)
- blue food dye

Step 1: Put 3 drops of food dye(adjust to your liking) into your jug.

Step 2: Stir and put into a cute dispenser! That's it!

B. Pool Tubes and Pool Noodles! 😂
These are adorable and perfect for any pool party! They are like decor and refreshments rolled into one!
All you need to do is put some Sour Punch Straws and some Life Savers in cute containers and make these little labels!

C. Watermelon Lollipops
These are pretty and festive for any summer occasion, and are delicious in the summer heat.
Just cut the melon into slices, cut out heart shapes with a cookie cutter and stick a lollipop stick into the center. Easy!

D. Ocean Jello
These little jello cups are so yummy, and can be made from the lemonade you made earlier! You can even stick little drink umbrellas into them for extra fun!

Makes 6 Jello cups.

You will need:
- four envelopes of unflavored gelatin
- 4 cups of lemonade, divided into 3 cups and 1 cup
- 6 plastic cups

Step 1: Sprinkle gelatin over 1 cup of cold juice and let stand for one minute.

Step 2: Meanwhile, get 3 cups of juice boiling in a medium sized saucepan.

Step 3: Pour the hot juice over the cold juice and whisk vigorously until all of the gelatin is dissolved.

Step 4: Pour into your cups and refrigerate until firm, about three hours.

3. DIY Photo Booth
This party fave is so much fun to do with friends!

First, hang up a festive plastic tablecloth against a wall and make sure the lighting is good for picture-taking.

Next, draw a poster that says: "Pick A Prop!"

Lastly, arrange a table with all your props(old floppy sun-hats, wigs, flower crowns, cheerleader pom-poms, and paper shapes on sticks) and your sign.

4. Just a tip: If you're hosting a pool party, roll up a couple of towels and put them in a colorful bucket for guests that forgot a towel.

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope that if you try this party out, you'll have as much fun as I did!
