Wire-Wrapped Stone Necklace




This pretty necklace is made from things that you probably have lying around: wire, a stone and beads.


You will need:
✧ a stone
✧ jewelry wire
✧ seed beads
✧ a jumpring
✧ pliers
✧ wire-cutters or scissors 
✧ a toothpick or thin knitting needle

Step 1: Cut 1 medium/long piece of wire into 4 roughly equal pieces.
















Step 2: Wrap two of the pieces of wire around the stone and twist them at the ends. It should look like this:



Step 3: Do the same thing on the other sides of the stone. It should look like this:

 

Step 4: Cut one side of the twisted wire so that it is about 1 1/2 inches long.
















Step 5: Bend the short side down. It will look like this:

















Step 6: Bend each of the pieces of wire at the bottom around a toothpick.
















Step 7: Attach a jumpring to the loop.
















Step 8: Attach seed beads onto the ends of the curled wire and bend up the edges so that they will not fall off.




 You're done! Slip it onto a chain for a cute necklace.
